About this Opportunity
The first year of this position has been co-funded by the Queensland Government and will be supported by our partners at Sabel Labs, Griffith University.
Please note: The Employment Opportunity is ONLY applicable to candidates who have graduated with Honours, Masters or a PhD from a Queensland based university (AQ8 level or higher) within the last two years.
The project will commence by August 31. The successful candidate will work within the Fusion Sport team and will also be mentored by leading Sport Engineers at Sabel Labs, Griffith University.
The project would have two core outcomes:
- Develop expertise in the wearables space within Fusion Sport
- Build/develop a programmable wearable prototype that allows users to create and share their own software applications.
Required attributes:
- Must have a degree in an Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- A strong background in embedded systems including hardware and firmware design
- An understanding of digital systems / technology
- Programming in a higher-level language
- Design experience through courses or projects
- PCB design
