Lead a small team of Business Analysts, Testers and a Project Manager to deliver this wealth management organisations project pipeline. You will have both delivery and line management responsibility as well as being accountable for the PMO function including portfolio status reporting to c-suite level stakeholders.
PMO Responsibilities
- Manage a PMO function that ensures high quality of project documents and governance artefacts
- Manage the development and improvement of program/project level reporting
- Coach and mentor a team of project professionals to deliver quality outcomes
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall with a pragmatic and common sense approach to deliver
- Refine PMO reporting to ensure key metrics for each project are available to senior management.
- Assists in resource allocation to projects with approval from COO
Project Management
- Develop and implement project management plans and associated collateral to ensure the success of the project.
- Manage the risk, quality and progress of the project, ensuring deployment of next phase implementations are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, within scope.
- Monitor the completion of project milestones against goals and agree amendments
- Undertakes assessment to identify potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the business.
Business Analysis
- Gather information from project sponsors and key stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Break down high level project requirements into smaller units of work.
- Document expected changes and ensure all stakeholders are comfortable with the project deliverables.
- Acts as the interface between development team, testers and business stakeholders.
Your skills & experience
- 8+ years as a project manager and senior project manager
- Wealth Management experience essential
- Experience dealing with business areas including product, operations, IT, distribution, legal, risk & compliance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities across diverse teams and levels
