We are currently seeking a Regional Cyber Security Analyst for our dedicated client, a large managed services brand, based at Macquarie Park. This is a technical security position, supporting regional OCIO. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conducting Security review of solutions including firewall rule reviews and change request reviews.
• Regional support for Internet Attack Surface Reduction mitigation actions.
• Firewall rule audit and remediation (ad-hoc audits/issues, troubleshooting)
• Security risk assessment of Third Party connectivity to a corporate network.
• Assist with regional coordination and customisation of agreed OCIO IA requirements.
• Cyber Security infrastructure implementation and regional support (NIPS, Forensics, Vulnerability Management, Firewall Audit)
• Develop technical reports and other collateral as required by the scope of services.

Key Requirements

• Minimum three years' experience in a dedicated Cyber Security role.
• Hands-on experience with firewall and policy
• Experience with security risk assessment for solutions
• Experience with network intrusion prevention systems 
• Experience with corporate policy and governance 
• Bachelors or Master's degree, preferably in technical discipline or field (computer science, etc)
• CISSP, SANS GIAC or CISA Certification desired
• Previous experience in a managed services environment will be an advantage.
