Reporting to ieMR CoE Senior Director and will ensure the successful implementation of a strategic ICT enabled CLINICAL CHANGE Program of work across one or more nominated Hospital and Health Services.

The Program Director will oversee the successful delivery of the approved ieMR Advanced solution across multiple facilities within the one or more nominated Hospital and Health Services (HHS).

eHealth are specifically looking for a Program Director that has worked within a Electronic Medical Records or similar Project working with or alongside the Hospitals and Health Services. Only candidates with experience within a similar program working with other Health Services should apply for this role.

The primary duties of this role include the following:

• Oversee the successful delivery of the approved ieMR Advanced solution across multiple facilities within the one or more nominated Hospital and Health Services (HHS);
• Provide advice and guidance to nominated HHS’s on organisational and technical requirements to optimise success within each facility;
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders by undertaking high level negotiations, providing expert advice and resolving complex risks and issues within the ieMR rollout program across nominated HHS facilities;
• Provide expert advice and strategic direction into the development of nominated HHS facility project documentation ensuring outcomes and project deliverables align with those outlined within the ieMR business case requirements, quality standards and comply with Queensland Health policies, strategies and architecture;
• Ensure outcomes are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and Queensland Health’s formal program and project management approaches and methodologies to enable the achievement of consistent and quality program and project outcomes;
• Manage and report on program and project level dependencies ensuring all impacts are identified to minimise impact on program timelines;
• Lead the integration and reconciliation of competing demands for multiple resources and maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the nominated HHS’s program of work;
• Manage and report on nominated HHS’s program health and performance against program/project plans and budgets;
• Develop timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers of an appropriately detailed nature as required to support ieMR CoE governance requirements;
• Ensure all assurance activities are undertaken in a timely manner and in collaboration with nominated HHS’s facility staff; and
• Other tasks as agreed with the ieMR CoE Clinical Lead/ieMR Rollout Director from time to time.
