The purpose of the Enterprise Architect role is the development of the architectural framework and all enterprise architecture artefacts and standards. The incumbent will be working with a third party provider who provide architecture services to the department. 

Key responsibilities:​

• Manage the third party provider who provide architecture services to the department
• Provide and articulate options, and facilitate adoption of the future strategy and architectural direction
• Develop IT strategy and planning in line with the strategic plan
• Work with key business stakeholders to develop an architectural roadmap
• Review current architecture and develop fit for purpose technologies for current and future needs

 Key Skills:

• Leadership experience in developing, communicating and maintaining technology architectures, ICT strategic plans and roadmaps
• Extensive experience as an enterprise architect in a complex environment
• Experience managing third party vendors who provide architecture services
• Demonstrated achievements in managing significant enterprise architecture projects
• Extensive experience assessing current environments and providing practical future options
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a consultative approach
