The Company
My client serves is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.
The Role
As my client goes through a strong Digital Transformation the need for a Digital Proposition Manager has now arisen. This new position will be responsible for leading the Digital customer experience for Mobile related propositions. The successful candidate will be driving development to increase adoption of digital services, increasing customer usage & transactions to increase customer satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Customer Insight and Segment teams to ensure a customer-led proposition and seamless experience is offered via mobile app
- Development of digital propositions to improve customer experience and satisfaction
- Strategic development of digital proposition
- Strong regional and local stakeholder engagement to deliver role objectives
- Develop an expert knowledge of digital customer base, market trends, and competitor activities in order to provide input to strategic direction.
- Develop & implement changes with consideration to local and regional business and IT requirements to derive commercial value from the digital propositions
- Ownership of the online Customer Journey, working in close collaboration with the Contact Centre & Regional Network teams.
- Adhering to internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements at all times
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 8 + years proven and progressive digital experience
- A thorough understanding of a multi-channel business model is essential.
- Solid understanding of Retail banking and other banking channels.
- In-depth understanding of Internet based propositions, Content Management Systems, Direct marketing
- An understanding of banking customer segments, products offered and the competitive market is desirable
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, communications, analytical, interpersonal, motivational, negotiation, project management, sales and team-building skills
- Strong skills in developing robust stakeholder relationships
- Thorough knowledge of pertinent regulations impacting retail banking activities and delivery systems and channels, including market potential as well as the regulatory framework
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, information technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to use numerical data to develop tactical plans within the broad context of strategic plans and change them as warranted by results.
