We are currently seeking an experienced JAVA Enterprise Services Developer for an immediate start on a 6 month contract to work in a large federal government department.
In this role you will design, build and unit test JSE applications with database interaction in a Solaris environment.
You will ideally have over five years experience developing JSE software and Windows services/ Unix daemons with strong knowledge in a multi thread environment, database design and development experience, and experience interacting directly with databases using JDBC.
You will work independently within a small team and have good communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise software documentation and always apply software development best practice to your work.
Any skills in Oracle PL/SQL, J2EE and Webservices, VBA, Oracle databases or Objective records management will be an advantage.
There may be some requirement to work outside of normal business hours on an infrequent basis.
Baseline security clearance is required to perform this role.
