Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Service Delivery Lead to build from the ground up Service Management processes. The Service Delivery Lead will be responsible for defining, establishing and documenting the new services in line with ITIL best practice on a Greenfield SAP implementation project. Reporting to the Program Manager you will manage a small team of 6 service transition analysts to build service management models.
 
This role will mainly be responsible for:
  • Liaising between stream leads, design teams and our partners you will communicate between all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of new services, executed to high quality standards.
  • Ensuring Service Management procedures are established and documented that align with ITILv3 best practice.
  • Providing commercial management and working with 3rd parties to support the solution.
  • Providing fully documented services, which are updated and maintained throughout the life of the service.
  • Participate in end to end stakeholder groups to improve the efficiency of future deliveries and processes.
Experienced Service Delivery Lead will have:
  • Tertiary degree in IT, business, or a relevant discipline.
  • ITIL V3 certification.
  • Agile and / or Scrum Certification would be ideal.
  • 6 – 10 year's experience within Service Transition / Service Delivery 
  • Previous experience of managing and allocating workload to a small team of analysts.
  • Experience of working on a SAP implementation and / or Retail industry experience (SAP preferred).
  • Experienced in defining services for delivering SLA's and the definition of brand new capability.
  • Proficient knowledge of ITIL processes and their application
  • Strong delivery experience in a multi-disciplinary Agile team environment.
  • Broad range of experience with people and processes.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills and experience of working within multi-vendor project environments. 
  • Extensive experience in a similar role in a complex retail environment would be ideal.
  • Experience of working on a Greenfield project, developing the service management operating model from scratch.
  • Well developed organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs.
  • Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders and influence change.
