The Role
Working in the Digital Product division, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous innovation, development and delivery of Greencap's Digital products, technical leadership, research and adoption of best engineering and delivery practices.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of world leading Digital products;
- Driving and encouraging a spirit and culture of continuous improvement. Promoting best practices through leadership and hands on participation in delivery process
- Undertaking market and technical research, understanding business requirements and developing solutions to extend and enhance product offerings
- Contributing to an engineering team that is Agile, collaborative, inclusive, and respectful;
- Analysing system and production defects, including trouble shooting and root cause analysis;
- Building high quality delivery process to ensure product quality and time to market;
- Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, assisting in setting commercial goals and objectives;

Technical Requirements:
- LAMP, PHP, JavaScript
- Strong FE development experience with React, Node
- MVC frameworks Laravel, Zend
- Experience with Amazon AWS services - EC2, S3, ACL, Route53, CloudWatch, security/ ACL
- Virtualized environment tools like Vagrant, Docker, etc.
- Solid Linux/UNIX skills
- Extensive experience using JIRA ALM ecosystem , Git/Bitbucket, Confluence
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Mobile development experience
- Knowledge or experience with blockchain technologies, private permissioned blockchains
- Experience with Microservices and Serverless architectures
