We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Canberra and work on exciting new projects to help shape and expand the Allhomes products.

This is a great opportunity to create new products from the ground up using the latest software technologies.

Ideally you will have Full Stack development experience from database to front end development. We'll need you to be able to understand and cope with a large complex system with many sub-systems and technology stacks.

• You enjoy working closely with product managers, graphic artists, designers, data engineers, and sales and marketing professionals.
• You love working with JavaScript (Node.js and React.js), Java, SQL, AWS product knowledge

What will you be doing day to day

• Ensuring sound operational design, security and quality practices are being followed
• Operational incident response and root cause diagnosis
• Scripting and software development to improve system automation
• Delivery of high quality software solutions meeting the businesses requirements
• Analysing user requirements
• Researching, designing and writing new software features
• Testing new features and fault finding
• Developing existing features by analysing and identifying areas for modification
• Writing and testing code and then refining and rewriting as necessary
• Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects

We all love to use the latest technologies at Allhomes. We're using mostly ReactJS to build reusable front-end components and the back end is a mix of Java EE,, Web API, Node.js, and Elasticsearch. We also have some products built in Angular anD JSF.

About Allhomes

As part of Domain Group, Allhomes is Canberra's major real-estate marketing business. We engage with almost every real estate agent in the ACT and wider ACT area.
