The Project:
Our Government Client is moving one of their divisions to another location, and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to ensure a smooth transition, which will include quite a large aspect of vendor management. 

Responsibilities: 
• Oversee all aspects of the project, including Scheduling 
• Project Level financial management including budget and cost tracking and forecasting. 
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project
• Risk and Issue Management. 
• Scope Management including identification, baseline negotiation, change control management process design and implementation and maintenance. 
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. 
• Build and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. 
• Procurement Management including identification of product or service deliverables and timeframes, preparation of procurement templates and literature in accordance with the contract review, coordinating approvals and purchase order creation. Milestones need to be tracked and performance managed and escalated with the vendor as appropriate. 
• Status Reporting preparation and management of governance meetings. 
• Resources managed through planning, commencement, execution and completion of their assignment. 
• Performance issues to be managed with team leads or resource owners as appropriate 

Mandatory Skills: 

• Extensive experience delivering complex ICT projects 
• Strong Infrastructure Project Management knowledge & delivery 
• Agile & Waterfall Proficiency
• Strong multi-vendor stakeholder management experience
• Department planning and enterprise knowledge
