Information Architect – Big data project

My client, a major manufacturing company, is currently looking for an Information Architect to look after a Big Data project.

The challenge is to move away from an old information system and implement a brand new data framework using the latest big data technologies: cloud (AWS, Google), Hadoop, CI/CD methodology, etc.

You will be required to work on data modelling, integration designing as well as implementation, using ETL in a corporate enterprise. You will need to have experience working with complex systems, combining data from various sources (structured and unstructured data).

It is a great opportunity for you to join a dynamic and experienced crew where you will learn a lot. You will be working with Hadoop environment. It will be an initial 6-month contract with high chances of extension, since they have got projects in the pipeline for the 3 years to come.

Job Responsibilities – Information Architect

• Design data warehouse and implement the ETL framework – coordinate the Data Engineers team
• Deal with millions of records on a daily basis
• Work closely with business stakeholders and provide them with appropriate tech solutions

• Experience with big data tools such as AWS, GCP, Python
• Ability to understand the global picture of data
• Good communication
