We’re a national printing, logistics and outsourcing company with a large manufacturing facility in Adelaide. The last 12 months have seen us grow rapidly through the provision of innovative technologies for our clients, with further opportunities still to come.
We need a systems engineer to join our team to support and extend our national network, along with our servers, cloud hosting, desktops and mobile devices.
Our technology services team is close knit and well regarded in the company. We have strategic goals that include automating as much as possible and providing a simple to understand environment for our users.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide level 1 and level 2 support for the desktop computing environment, systems and network
- System administration, group policy, Active Directory and patch management. Windows and Linux OS problem determination and resolution
- Citrix environment management
- Backups and mirroring
- Disaster recovery preparation, documentation and implementation
- Physical hosts, virtual environments, SAN
- Firewalls, WAN
- Information security policy development, implementation, monitoring and training for the user base
- Establish an SOE
- Licence management
Key requirements:
- Information security (A/V, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Encryption)
- VMware ESX
- Physical host, SAN and virtual infrastructure implementations
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy
- Windows Server and Linux
- Microsoft Exchange
- Network creation (LANs, VLANs, WANs, switch trunks and routing)
- Long term planning
