As a result of a secured engagement with one of our partners, Helix requires an experienced, client-facing Storage & Backup Engineer to join on a long term contract. You will have proven experience driving business outcomes using the most up to date technologies and be comfortable working with technical and business customers.

Storage/Backup Engineer key requirements:

• Engineering experience with one or more of the following technologies:
• NetBackup, EMC, Data Domain, HDS, Commvault
• Demonstrated ability to apply high quality detailed technical knowledge to ensure solutions are implemented effectively with a strong emphasis on high quality
• Proven experience successfully handing over to customers using excellent communication and liaison skills
• Good technical knowledge across hardware and emerging infrastructure storage and backup technologies 
• Can work independently or as part of the wider team 

Storage / Backup Engineer key responsibilities:

• Working with the team or alone to drive customer outcomes
• Work closely with Infrastructure designers to execute on transformation plans
• Execute solutions in line with business requirements
• Help align outcomes with customers strategy for ICT
• Consult with clients and partners on issues and problems identified in the ICT environment
• Report both into client and internal stakeholders on progress and issue escalation
