My client is regarded as well known, loved and innovative international leader.Due to massive growth, they are seeking an experienced Software Architect from a Microsoft background, to join them based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The role is a permanent position working with teams that will be looking to enhance the organisation's online, web, mobile and digital strategies. You will have previously worked in a role where the emphasis has been on software architecture, Microsoft products, Cloud Technologies (Azure) and a thorough understanding of development methodologies and practices in Software and Hardware engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to understand and communicate business processes.
- Continuous improvement - there is currently a process in place.
- Architecting, designing and developing solutions and technical analysis
- Managing, enhancing and building data analysis applications and Microsoft services
- Architecting, designing and developing business-to-business applications.
- Driving digital strategy
Candidates must have:
- Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment (mandatory)
- Solid architecture experience
- Knowledge in Microsoft .NET apps,
- Experience working and leading Continuous Integration teams
- Delivery of large scale consumer facing websites
Excellent experience in people management skills, and not just as a technical team lead. - Degree qualified, Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in engineering e.g. systems, electrical/electronic or computer science.
- Communication and relationship skills need to be excellent as there is quite a lot of stakeholder management involved.
