Partnered with Microsoft this rapidly growing Dynamics Marketing Product Management client is seeking a Technical Director from a CRM Dynamics 365 Architect / Tech Lead, this already established business is growing fast!!

As Tech Director you will lead the product development department and be responsible for the plan and directing all aspects of development activities and projects. Your mission is to deliver outstanding product and to build an outstanding product development team.

You will oversee all activities of your team and ensure the delivery of quality product that meets the requirements of the business. You will work closely with the product management capability who is tasked with the responsibility of defining the need and briefing successfully the product team.

The building of a product development capability includes hiring the right people for the right job, enhancing the team and building an innovative and capable development team . Managing people, finance, and product development are your primary accountabilities.

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities should be expressed concisely and identify the broad requirements of the position

  • Build and deliver the products to market
  • Drives  the product technology strategy, architecture, planning and delivery of infrastructure and development across  software solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, processes and performance to ensure performance based, commercially competitive and innovative team
  • Build a highly professional, responsive and accountable customer service culture
  • Lead a team of developers  who are immensely capable in the MSFT stack with a particular focus to D365, Azure, ASP.NET, Java Script, Angular, AI, Integrations and Data Lakes
  •  develop and implement short to long term strategic sourcing solutions
  • Representing technology point-of-view with the leadership of the business
  • Ability to balance conflicting resource demands and internal pressures with focus towards our product development priorities
  • Have a high tolerance for and able to navigate ambiguity and complexity. Prioritizes and clarifies direction and objectives to team members
  • Thrives in a dynamic, customer centric and start up environment
  • Technology governance, project delivery governance and process governance that is scalable across the organization
  • Management of technical integrations and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides technical leadership for the design and implementation of features and site/software system enhancements
  • Works collaboratively with the team coordinating and communicating development activities and priorities

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

  • Knowledge and Experience
  • Qualification/s
  • 10+ years of working experience in a software development for SaaS or other web based applications
  • Demonstrating knowledge and interest in new and emerging technologies and in site/software development tools
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in DevOps methodologies, through test, full build, and deploy automation workflows and tools
  • Highly organized,highly analytical and procedural, creative and strategic thinker, and ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate natural leadership abilities, being able to influence and inspire a cross-functional team
  • Experience with and thorough technical knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM (CRM 2016, 2015, 2013, and Dynamics 365) application environment including plug in development, workflow development, and Case Management, Security implementation
  • Able to articulate best practices related to application enhancements/customizations, integration with other applications
  • Experience with SQL, C#/.NET, WCF Services, APIs, MS XML Web Services and XSL/XSLT and other programming languages, as necessary to enhance the functional use of the Dynamics application
  • Dynamics CRM coding/development experience
  • Experience is using dynamic API’s (OData)
  • Experience in Architecture, Development, Implementation, writing plugins, actions and workflows for dynamics
  • Understanding of the core functionality and features across the Dynamics 365 suite
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering IT service strategy, design, transition and operations in a complex enterprise environment
  • High level of commercial experience and skills in strategic sourcing and vendor management
  • Demonstrated conceptual and innovative problem solving skills for resolving systemic problems, managing conflicting priorities and developing, implementing and monitoring recommendations and advice on policies, strategies and solutions across complex areas
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering IT service strategy, design, transition and operations in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Extensive experience in the development, review and evaluation of strategic technology and business plans
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to consult, influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated senior leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage human, financial and physical resources effectively and efficiently to ensure budget and performance targets are met
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and tools
  • Good working knowledge of development strategies, project management and business and technical consultancy
