We currently have an opportunity for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join Iluka's IT team, based in Perth.
The Senior IT Business Analyst is primarily accountable for working with the business to ensure Iluka meets statutory and internal financial reporting and control obligations relating to all applications supporting the Hire to Retire (HTR) and Payroll business processes as well as the Expense Management and SAP Security solutions.
The successful person will ensure Iluka continues to meet information and process requirements; as defined by the Business Process Owner (BPO) and Business Process Expert (BPE) in a cost effective manner whilst assuming an acceptable level of risk.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
- supporting the existing systems and develop potential solutions for proposed business process improvements;
- reviewing business analytics and intelligence capabilities to improve information availability and delivery;
- being a liaison between the internal BPO and any third party contractor supporting these business functions;
- writing functional specifications for the business requirements and co-ordinating with third party contractors to deliver the solution.
The successful person will have:
- Tertiary education in Business Information Systems or similar;
- Proven experience working in the same or similar role;
- Proven experience as in a SAP HR/Payroll analyst role;
- Sound knowledge of integration points between SAP FI/CO and PY/HR, MM, SD and PS modules;
- SAP security module knowledge is desirable;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities; and
- Strong written and verbal communication.
