A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Websphere MQ / IIB Infrastructure SME to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for using their strong hands-on knowledge and experience in the planning, implementation, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of Websphere MQ Series and IIB (IBM Integration Bus). The main focus of the position will be to drive an enterprise-wide program to establish and set up a new Message Broker system into a large, complex enterprise environment, including setting up the configuration, tool managers etc and upgrading older versions of MQ and IIB.
This position will favour candidates who can quickly come up to speed in a large, complex organisation, who can work in a high pressured environment as a collaborative team player whilst leveraging their strong technical skills with little direction and deliver to tight deadlines.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications coupled with relevant industry certifications
- Demonstrated infrastructure build, design and delivery experience gained within large, complex environments in infrastructure design.
- Superior knowledge and experience in implementing, upgrading, configuring and maintaining Websphere MQ and IIB (IBM Integration Bus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong documentation skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently as required
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
