Talent International is working in partnership with our client, one of the largest investment managers in the APAC region, to assist in sourcing a Business Analyst with Investment Banking background.

Purpose of the Role:
 
To act as a Business Analyst within Strategy and Investment Services on the Performance reporting & attribution project.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and improvement of business processes, simplification of operating models and documentation of requirements
• Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering for a new solution
• Creation of an evaluation framework for vendor reporting solution proposals
• Operating Model review and recommendations
• Assistance with the development of test plan/ test cases
• Support the Change Manager in Change Management, Training and Implementation activities to ensure the delivery of the overall business and technology solutions.

 Knowledge, experience and skills:

• Demonstrated Financial Services experience - 3+ years
• Experience with Investments and Performance Reporting and systems and familiar with the terminology and business processes including equity, fixed income & multi-manager attribution.
• Advanced knowledge of financial instruments and markets across all asset classes
• Experience in analysing and defining the business requirements and system functional/non-functional requirements.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, SMEs, IT specialists and external suppliers.
• Experience in designing and defining Business Process and operating models
• Experience in developing test plans/cases, defect analysis & prioritisation and facilitating business testing

 
This is an initial 6-month contract with a view for an extension, based at Sydney CBD.
