Our client are undertaking a digital transformation towards becoming a utility of the future by implementing a fully digital system where their systems, data and people are better connected. Over the next 24 months they will implement a number of ERP-EAM related 'building blocks', replacing the current versions of Ellipse v5.2 with SAP cloud-based, software solutions.
They are seeking a SAP Functional Analyst to join their HR Stream on an initial 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the design, development and delivery of training programs to ensure a smooth transition to the new SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and SuccessFactors solution.
- Assist in development of online learning material using Enable Now
- Working with the key business teams and implementation partners to develop an understanding of current processes impacted by the project and guide their re-design in line with predetermined standardised processes.
- Lead workshops with the business and implementation partners to review and define the critical impacts for the project stream, including identification of impacts for users of integrated source systems.
- Support the project stream in the analysis, documentation and facilitation of activities to produce an impact analysis and the mapping of SAP business processes to existing business functions and roles (role mapping).
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients to support the development and implementation of testing, training and support activities.
- Assess and determine business and implementation readiness at various stages of the project lifecycle including support activities.
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as an SAP functional analyst across large portfolios and programs of work with an understanding of core SAP functional and implementation principles.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and documenting organisational impacts in the context of an end to end SAP implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify process impacts and developing documentation to support implementation activities
- Demonstrated experience in working with businesses in the adoption of best practices, solving complex business problems and assistance with its implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering project activities and documentation on time and to a high standard and supporting all phases of a large transformation program including testing, training and support activities.
- Demonstrated ability in communicating with all forms of stakeholders and subject matter experts.
