As a result of a secured engagement with a new partner, Helix requires a team of experienced and adaptable Infrastructure Engineers to add to an already dynamic and highly capable team. You will have proven experience delivering change into large infrastructure environments featuring some of the most up-to-date open-source technologies and be comfortable working, and liaising with stakeholders from both customer and internal teams.

Project Infrastructure Engineer key skill requirements:

• Min. 5 years experience working in a corporate ICT environment with solid exposure to Red Hat Linux
• Certifications such as, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) a distinct advantage.
• Excellent and extensive understanding of UNIX / Linux commands, start-up processes, shutdown processes, password recovery, automated build methods, configuration and remediation of problems from the Linux user group.
• Solid understanding of script programming and technologies such as csh, php, python and bash.
• Automation skills with Ansible.
• Desirable tech skills: Ruby, OpenStack, CloudForms
• Working in dynamic and complex technical estates
• Familiar with cloud adoption and what it takes to achieve migration from on-prem to AWS or Azure led solution
