The client is a highly recognised Health and NFP organisation that is collaborating with other like minded organisations to deliver health propriety applications.

The right candidate will also be passionate about the NFP & Health sector.
This role is responsible for:
- Security of network infrastructure, including the data network, wide area network, voice networks, Internet access facilities and connected devices;
- Overall design of network infrastructure, including the data network, wide area network, voice networks, Internet access facilities and network security infrastructure;
- Overseeing management and support of the network infrastructure;
- Manage 3rd party providers to ensure reliable, available and secure network to meet organisation requirements;
- Acting as the Design Authority for all network infrastructure and network security related initiatives;
Skill Requirement:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a network engineer in a medium or large sized organisation;
- Tertiary degree in an information technology related discipline, or comparable industry experience;
- Good knowledge of IT security standards and practices, such as ISO 27000 series;
- Advanced knowledge of IT network security, including proxy servers, e-mail filtering, firewalls, IDS/IPS, malware protection, reverse proxy servers, VPN’s and access control;
- Good technical knowledge of networking protocols and products (CCNP is preferred), including:
- Cisco architectures: Borderless Networks, Data centre networking, Wireless, and Security, Dark fibre, MPLS, WAN and LAN links;
- Routing and switching;
- IP telephony and Unified communications;
- Windows networking protocols;
- Good technical knowledge of:
- Security authentication and encryption protocols;
- Security standards and standard’s bodies;
