Additionally, you will demonstrate fantastic conceptual skills, facilitating business and software requirement meetings with operational experts in a respectful way, producing on-the-fly solutions to existing or perceived issues.

Selection Criteria:

  • At least 2 years commercial experience in a Php development role
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a web application development role
  • A degree in IT related to software development
  • Work under agile project management methodologies
  • Object Oriented Web application development using a Php framework including CodeIgniter 3.x
  • Native or Hybrid Mobile App Development.
  • Developing and deploying applications using Node Js
  • Web service experience including producing RESTful API or SOAP web services
  • Client-side JavaScript Frameworks for creating dynamic web applications based on HTML5 and CSS including Knockout JS, jQuery, VUE JS or react Native.
  • SQL and NoSQL database, including Mysql, Mongo db, Redis and Elasticsearch
  • Advanced OOP design patterns,
  • Javascript and Php Testing Frameworks
  • Version Control using Git
  • Implementing and Deploying on Cloud computing services such as AWS

The successful applicant will quickly become an expert at our server-side PHP code, ready to develop for the Agile SDLC, and maintain our core methodology regarding the flexible data-driven API.

You will provide valuable advice and expertise to the project team throughout conceptual design phases to ensure the most suitable solutions are produced to meet the business requirements.

You will adhere to phase timelines and work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability; and will be capable of exercising substantial personal responsibility and autonomy, planning your own work to meet given objectives and processes.
