We have a fantastic opportunity with one of clients who has just gone to the market looking for a strong Automation Tester to join their existing team. It’s an initial 6 month contract with an expectation to extend.
Our client is looking for a "hands on" Automation Tester with experience setting up the entire BDD testing environment from scratch and educating / governing developers to run with the system. You should be familiar with:
- CI/CD deployment from GitHub using software such as Teamcity (preferred), Jenkins including unit test integration
- Test driven development
- Front-end testing
- Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) with Gherkin and ability to deploy in Lettuce (preferred)
The ideal candidate will have solid front end development background who has the ability to write test cases in BDD and test units before doing the development.
Languages required (not all of them):
- Gherkin
- Lettuce
- Python
- Cucumber
This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly and dynamic environment managing GitHub procedures, creating branches, etc. It’s not a role for a classical Tester, as the role encompasses automation testing, front end development and much much more!
