Key responsibilities 

Reporting to the Project Manager responsibilities will include;

• Thinking through concepts and ideas on how best to display information in a digital space
• Adapting print material into a digital format
• Developing web applications to enhance customer's content
• Maintaining and supporting content distribution through the apps
• Setting up and configuring Databases
• Working effectively in a dynamic team setting – taking direction, proactively seeking out information and building productive working relationships

Must have experience and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
• Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience in JavaScript
• Strong JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3
• REST, Web API, JSON, SOAP, AJAX
• In-depth knowledge with MVC frameworks such as Angular.js 
• Experience setting up and configuring Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc)
• Expert experience with JavaScript's associated libraries 
• Experience working with responsive design
• Experience integrating with various cloud based systems and APIs
• Proficient in a number of open source technologies
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Source Control SVN, GIT
• Experience in architecting and configuring AWS infrastructure
• Exposure to AGILE/SCRUM methodologies and related best-practises
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in spoken and written English
