COMPANY:

Recognised by Garnter as a genuine leader in their space, this global SaaS vendor continues to expand its team across APAC and is on the look out for an experienced Solutions Consultant. They are VC funded and with continued success in the region are looking for a new memebr to join the Melbourne team.

The Solutions Consultant's focus is to help sales team in the sales process by crafting custom solutions, large deal support, problem solving, integration of disparate systems, coordinating professional services estimates, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Works with Sales Exec/Account Manager/Product Team to construct business requirements, solution structure, proposals, pricing, etc.
• Identify client needs and requirements
• Provide technical consultation and disseminate product information to the sales team. Make recommendations on products to go-to-market
• Share best practices and be consultative to clients
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
• Understand the competitive market and business/technical landscape to solve business problems
• Works with product team to stay abreast of product roadmap, enhancements, updates, bugs, etc.

Skills & experience:

• 5+ years experience in a presales/solutions consultant role for a SaaS vendor
• Experience with technical presentations and POC's
• Excellent telephone, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent organizational skills and time management; ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization - C-suite through daily operations team members
• Solutions oriented; ability to take complex, technical subjects and present them in a simple and straightforward manner

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to $130K base + super + stocks (OTE up to $165K)
