About the business
Indji Systems is an independent software company with offices in California and Western Australia that was founded in 2005. We develop and sell mapping software which helps businesses to make better decisions and run more efficiently. This position will be in direct support of Indji Watch, a cloud-based subscription service which enhances safety for renewable energy operations and is a key risk mitigation tool for electric utilities.

About the role
The successful candidate will be part of a development team managing our 24/7 mission critical software as a service product and be responsible for testing new functionality and ensuring the quality of new releases rolled out to the production environment.
Job Duties:
- Analyse requirements and system documentation to determine test objectives and ensure adequate test coverage
- Consult with relevant stakeholders where documentation is insufficient
- Develop and maintain relevant test strategies based on test objectives
- Develop and maintain automated tests where appropriate
- Execute test strategies and report results
- Raise and close defects with development team
- Develop and maintain appropriate regression tests to ensure product integrity with each release
- Maintain test platforms

Skills and experience
- Passionate about quality
- Excellent English both verbal and written communications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing
- Experience in testing Hosted SaaS systems across multiple browsers and platforms
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong team player; highly motivated with a willingness to learn
- Experience in using automated testing frameworks like Selenium
- Experience in setting up and maintaining test platforms
- Exposure to Microsoft Windows Server and scripting (batch, PowerShell) is desirable
- Exposure to using RDBMS and SQL is desirable
- Exposure to the and understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is desirable
- Exposure to SCRUM software methodology or similar agile environment is desirable
