A large, established government organisation is seeking to engage a knowledgeable records specialist to provide advice in relation to recordkeeping activities for a large ICT project.
This is an initial 4 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of an 18 month extension, based in brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the appraisal of requests to destroy digital records and prepare associated authorisation requests.
- Act as a subject matter expert in providing recordkeeping advice and undertaking appropriate liaison with clients to support the project underway.
- Provide advice and assist the organisation with best practice recordkeeping.
- Facilitate the destruction of digital records held in recordkeeping systems, particularly time-expired records captured in electronic recordkeeping databases.
- Follow the organisation’s approved retention and disposal schedule.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated extensive experience working with record management systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
