About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Business Transformation, In this business critical role you will plan, execute and deliver a key HRIS solution as part of a wider efficiency and transformation program. You will work with corporate and regional stakeholders to replace multiple pay and rostering systems with one integrated, streamlined platform.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establish project charter
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine systems requirements
  • Establish and execute an agreed project plan for systems and process implementation
  • Establish project governance and reporting framework as well as managing quality and communications plans
  • Manage and report on the project budget, risks and issues
  • Establish and manage a project change management process
  • Assist in defining and documenting detailed functional requirements for the software
  • Liaise with Human Resources, Payroll and Operational staff to ensure requirements are met and are fully engaged in system configuration and testing
  • Develop and execute test/UAT programs and a full training plan
  • Manage the go-live process for each site, ensuring effective post go-live support.
  • Manage all vendors associated with the project to agreed scope and budget
  • Establish and manage the project steering committee
  • Provide regular detailed reports on project status to all stakeholders 

Skills & Experience Required 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex information technology projects, with a particular focus on systems implemetation and development
  • Awareness of systems and processes within the aged care and retirement operator environment
  • Experienced in the use of rostering and payroll systems
  • Strong understanding of the payroll operation
  • Good understanding of system integration (payroll, HR and finance)
  • Able to operate in cross functional groups to set and achieve project goals
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent skills in documentation
  • Understanding of systems analysis and design
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Able to manage and lead a team
  • Tertiary qualifications in etiehr a business or technology discipline
  • Formal project management certification
  • Siginificant demonstrated experience in project management with systems implementations and/or payroll related projects
