As one of Brisbane's most prestigious college's, my client is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their Tech team. Join a small team of IT professionals for a mixture of BAU and some small project work.

Full-time position

South Brisbane location, very close to CBD.

$79,000- $84,000 base + 10% superannuation
Up-to $92,000 pakcage

The role

- Maintainenece, administration, Support of current virtual and physical environments
- Level 3 support - Be a part of the support services team and help with help that is escalated to level 3
- Manage Microsoft O365, Azure
- Manage back-up and disaster recovery - EMC DataDomain, Avamar
- Data centre management and support
- Manage phone systems - Avaya IP
- Bring technology knowledge to the table and have an impact on future IT roadmap

Must have

- 4+ years help desk/ Support experience
- 2+ years level 3 support experience
- 2+ years System Engineering experience
- Must be confident in working autonomously with the following technologies:
   - Office 365  
   - Microsoft Azure
   - EMC DataDomain & Avamar
   - Firewalls & Servers ESXI
- Experience with working in a similar environement would be highly advantageous
