New opportunity created for a Network Engineer to join an innovative company and be primarily responsible for providing network design, planning and support solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced in writing technical proposals/feasibilities study reports for telecommunications projects. If you have hands on skills designing and implementing networks then this could be the role for you.
 
Responsibilities include: 

• Liaison with stakeholders and project team members to gather the requirements of the IP network solution
• Development of detailed design documentation & drawings
• Liaison with subject matter experts during the transition of production services (implementation & cutover planning, documentation and execution)
• Experience in translating IP solution and associated design documents to configuration on the IP routers and switches
• Good knowledge and strong background in IP technologies, Data Communication, LAN, WAN, MPLS and VPN services.
• Understanding of telecommunications networks and assets.
• Advanced organisational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Support proposal and project activities including preparation of technical documentation for submissions.

 
To be successful, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

• Tertiary qualification preferably in electronic, electrical / communications engineering or equivalent
• 5 - 10 years experience with a network engineering role
• Experienced across IP networking, communications, fibre and microwave technology.
