What your day will look like

The primary duties of this role include but are not restricted to:

  • Providing 3rd level support for the day-to-day operations of the business
  • Working closely with members of the IT Service Desk, software development teams, and managed service providers to resolve incidents, problems and service requests in a timely manor
  • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of software applications throughout our on-prem environment
  • Working with internal staff as well as external clients and vendors on a variety of projects
  • Creating and updating documentation for new and existing systems

 

Who we need

We currently seeking a Systems Administrator on a full time basis. This position would suit an individual who is looking to start their career in the Information Technology (IT) field. You must be a driven, determined and customer service focused individual with a can-do attitude, good attention to detail and high organisational and time management skills. You will have a flexible approach, strong analytical and problem solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication.

Critical criteria for the role

  • Experience in supporting a Microsoft environment; Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, SQL Server, Citrix XenApp
  • It is desirable to have previous exposure in SharePoint, SCCM, Exchange Server, vSphere, Office 365, PowerShell, Automation, Linux
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in a previous Systems Administration role
  • The ability to participate in an on-call (24/7) support roster as required
  • Be eligible to obtain an Australian Baseline security clearance
