One of our premium clients based in Canberra is looking for a highly experienced and committed Personnel Security Vetting Officer. This key position will be responsible for undertaking the security clearance processes. In this role you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the company.
The officer will also be required to assess complex clearance cases, provide Quality Assurance on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and provide sound advice on clearance outcomes. The applicant must possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Cert IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively individually or within a team environment;
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Adherence to APS Values and Code of Conduct as defined in the Public Service Act 1999 as well as the organisations own policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated vetting experience is desirable.
