About the role

Our Client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can further strengthen client reporting and maintain data processing environments.  This role will focus on optimizing the client reporting environment, ensuring the efficient delivery of their range of products to client business users, who utilise these tools to accurately manage their infrastructure in a convenient and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

You will have a customer centric focus, with team mentoring experience, a structured and methodical approach to your work, and a proven ability to collaborate with other units and areas of the business such as Project Managers, Operations, Sales and Support. A personality that encourages the best from those around them will go far. Applicants who have come from industries such as Utilities, Government infrastructure and or Geospatial will have an advantage.

To be successful in this role, you will possess hands-on, proven experience in the following:

• Operational Database Management
• Database Architecture
• Data Warehousing and Reporting
• Data Engineering Team Lead
• Data Analysis

You will be proficient in the following platforms:

• SQL, T-SQL
• RDBMS
  • SQL Server and Postgres
• Cloud based Technologies
  • AWS
