IT Relationship Manager  – North Ryde

CSR Limited is a top ASX listed Australian manufacturing company that specialises in creating innovative and sustainable building products and systems for the Australian and New Zealand markets.  Our Business Information Services (BIS) team provides all IT services to internal, external and a select number of Joint ventures across Australia and New Zealand, supporting around 200 network sites and over 3000 end users. 

The opportunity!

We currently have an opportunity for a confident and customer orientated professional to engage with relevant business units across our CSR business to manage relationship and pipeline of work across the IT & Tech space.  You will be the conduit between our business and IT teams to translate business needs into feasible IT solutions.

This will initially be a contract role ending in July 2019.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Based at our head office in North Ryde and reporting into the Customer Experience Manager, duties and responsibilities will include:

• Establish and maintain strong relationship with the relevant business key stakeholders, business teams and the CSR end customers
• Facilitate the pipeline of business initiatives (“demand”) into the BIS Delivery Process (“supply”) to enable IT delivery of the business initiatives
• Clearly understand and capture benefits and scope of each initiative to enable correct prioritisation of work and resource allocation
• Using and interpreting key data such as Customer Measure, Business and BIS SLTs to drive an effective service delivery framework
• Understand business strategy and communicate it to the BIS Leadership Team to ensure products and services exist or can be introduced to deliver and support the business strategy
• Overall management of the relevant BU “demand” pipeline of IT Service Requests that comprise operational and strategic business initiatives
• Build confidence and positive perception in CSR internal customers through consistent, visible and value adding interaction with key stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will be a strategic thinker with have a strong business analysis or business management background. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in IT service delivery or in IT relationship management roles (experience within the manufacturing industry will be advantageous)
• Experience managing smaller to medium size IT projects

• Effective and clear communication style and empathy towards stakeholders

• The ability to multi-task and work autonomously
• Past Business Analyst experience highly desirable
• The ability to travel across sites nationally (approx. once every two months)
• A positive disposition and ability to work as part of a wider and cohesive team!
