About the opportunity
As Team Leader, you’ll be key in providing technical and people leadership for a team of web developers in our Digital Services team. Our team provides support for our businesses across Australia and New Zealand whether it’s for existing websites or new projects. From a technical perspective, this is a role in which you can support the development of our web strategy and roadmap but still get to enjoy hands-on development work. As a Team Leader, you will get to work with a talented bunch by helping them reach their full potential through coaching and mentoring.

For this role in particular, we are looking for:
- Expertise in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) is a must
- PHP frameworks such as Cake and Laravel
- Web services – SOAP, REST
- Practical knowledge in firewall and networking
- Experience working in an enterprise environment – able to relate to our business stakeholders, understand their pain points, and identify how web solutions can help solve their problems
- Hands on experience leading a development team – coaching, training, resource management
