MoneyPlace is a fast growing fintech looking to hire a front-end developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team as we scale-up.  

We’re looking for a new team member who is passionate about taking their craft as a developer to the next level and fits in well to our relaxed but focused team environment.

Working across areas, you can communicate clearly and concisely, articulating complex technological concepts to fellow developers and translating for non-developers. You’re also adept at navigating technical conversations with team members.

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, you are able to pivot between work streams; you can focus on one project for an extended duration or contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.

Your previous experience should show:

• Expert knowledge of HTML, CS and JS

• Deep experience building applications based on modern JS libraries like Vue.js or React

• You have experience in deploy flows and bundlers like Webpack

• You have knowledge with Git version control

• You have a solid understanding of PHP and open source frameworks like Laravel

• You have experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

You will be responsible for:

• Building front-end applications with special attention to performance, extensibility, sustainability and security

• Extending application features by building interfaces to 3rd party services (API, JSON)

• Setting up code base and various environments with deployment tools to be used by other developers of the team

• Collaborating on research and experimentation

• Working with back end developers to on client-side application integration

• Writing specs and documentation
