Our client is seeking an experienced Reporting Manager to support the delivery of the Major IT Infrastructure Projects Portfolio
 
The PMO Reporting Manager will report to the Portfolio Director and ensure that the appropriate reporting of projects is in place across the portfolio, including receipt of regular status reports and development of executive committee meetings. 
 
Key accountabilities:

  • Ensuring project reporting is completed in the standard organisation tools
  • Producing report packs and information for key meetings with agenda/minutes
  • Maintaining a milestone register from dates reported in status reports
  • Producing all external reports required by EPMO, FID, DFSI or other stakeholders
  • Establishing and maintaining a calendar of key meeting and reporting events.

 
Key Relationships:
The PMO Reporting Manager will be required to work closely in supporting and advising the Portfolio Director on project related matters. The role will also need to gain the respect, support and commitment of Program colleagues to ensure project status is correctly monitored and reported and record when milestones are met.

This role will be required to interface with the external contractors that are part of the project.
 
Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience (5+ years) producing reports and working within a PMO on projects.
  • High level of analytical and problem solving capability.
  • Skilled in use of MS Office and tools such as Powerpoint, MS Project and Visio.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high quality work.
  • Ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement while maintaining a strong customer service approach
  • State Government experienced is an advantage
