Queenwood is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12, non-selective day school for girls. A rigorous academic curriculum within a balanced program of activities has been the hallmark of a Queenwood education for over 90 years. Within a strong learning community, we create space for our girls to engage with big ideas and connect with a diverse range of people and communities.
In 2018 and 2019 several new IT systems and technologies are being introduced at Queenwood and to assist with this implementation, additional assistance for staff and students is required.
The School is seeking a Technology Trainer to develop and provide specific training sessions and general assistance to staff in systems and applications to meet their teaching and administration requirements.
The role reports to the Head of ICT. This is a part-time, 3 day a week role until the end of 2019. Immediate start preferred but negotiable.
Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated capability to assist and train adults in the effective and appropriate use of technology to support their own roles.

Training and/or adult education experience.

Degree or other qualification in ICT (highly desirable), or an equivalent level of practical skills and experience.

Strong working knowledge of various operating systems and platforms including Windows, MacOS and iOS.

Experience and/or understanding of a BYOD environment.

Strong working knowledge of a range of software applications, learning management systems, school management systems and cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365, Google G-Suite, Canvas and iWise.
