Conditions:
This is a full time, permanent position located at our Mt Claremont Depot.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for the analysis, design and development of business solutions for the efficient management of the Telecommunication network.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Design and develop software/databases where the need is identified based on available technology for both operational and business requirements.
- Provide database and reporting tools development, support and assistance.
- Investigates and develops reporting solutions for the efficient management of the telecommunications network.
- Provide specialist support in the identification of operational deficiencies and to recommend and develop business solutions
- Continuous evaluation of user requirements and reporting implementation to meet these requirements.
- Analyse and rectify functional problems for operational and business systems
About you:
-
The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:
- At least 5 years software/application development experience
- Experience with Oracle/SQL Server
- Experience programming in Java and VB6
- Working knowledge of Telecommunications systems
- Maintain effective working relationships across the business
- High level communication skills, and analytical analysis ability
- Tertiary level qualifications in computer science, information technology or a relevant engineering discipline.
