Leading client in fast growing sector is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join their talented team.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Inner Melbourne.
 
Our client has already begun their DevOps journey and is looking for someone to come along for the ride!
 
The DevOps Engineer will promote frameworks, processes, methodologies and tools to enable the company to continue to deliver higher-quality solutions with more resilience, consistency and speed.
 
Looking for someone who has experience with and totally understands the essence of DevOps, the DevOps feedback loop and in every aspect which DevOps contributes.  Experience with various different tools and understands which tools are used for which purpose.

You will be responsible for creation and maintenance of the deployment pipeline across multiple products using a consistent set of technical processes.

Manage the continuous integration and deployment systems used to build and validate software products.

Implement governance for the build and release definitions to maintain consistency and provide guidance to the various teams consuming these services.
 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of science degree in computer science or similar
• 6+ years of software development/engineering experience
• Advanced knowledge of multiple software development languages and proficiency in all related languages
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft technology stack (Azure / Office365 / Dynamics / SharePoint, Azure IaaS, PaaS or SaaS etc...)
• Experience working with build automation tools
• Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems and communication interfaces
• Advanced knowledge of database management systems
• Experience working with deployment automation frameworks
• Experience working with container frameworks
• Any healthcare/retail experience will be desirable
