About the Role
The Project Scheduler will support large scale, complex multi sream delivery project scheduling activities be ensuring an experienced level of scheduling / reporting documentation and support that meets business and project team requirements.
Key Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies with scheduling tools and experience through all stages of the project life cycle, with the ability to develop and adapt schedules to meet business objectives.
- Experience in building schedules (preferably product based) for large complex projects with a central master schedule maintaining the overall source of truth through milestone and dependency integration with separate specialist schedules providing lower level detail.
- High levels of knowledge of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2).
- High level oral and written communication skills for use in a project team environment.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary specialist project team.
- Ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with stakeholders, including coaching and mentoring skills.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in scheduling and administration for large complex projects with Microsoft Project is mandatory.
Highly Desirable
- Expertise with other scheduling and project collaboration tools is highly desirable.
- While not mandatory, the PRINCE2 project management qualification would be well regarded.
- Ability to travel intra-state is highly desirable.
