- Exciting IT position supporting the Australian Volunteers Program
- Maximum-term contract until 30th June 2022
- Based in Fitzroy, Melbourne
AVI supports the implementation of the Australian Volunteer Program (AVP) on behalf of the Australian Government. The program sends Australian volunteers on assignments overseas that are designed to sustainably build the capacity of people, organisations, communities and institutions. Through meaningful volunteer assignments, the Program creates enduring links between Australians and people and organisations in partner countries.
The position of Network & Systems Administrator will be the first point of contact for end-user support requests and assist in the delivery of technology and infrastructure projects and maintenance activities. The role would support the Australian Volunteers Program within Australia and across its 22 international sites.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and or equivalent demonstrated work experience in a similar role
- 2-3 years experience in first/second level support (MS Office, hardware, basic networking, telephony etc)
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services and/or MS Azure
- Management of Office365 (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience in administration of Symantec Endpoint Protection server and clients
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/12/16
- Experience with VMware ESX server
- Have strong problem solving, analytical, communication, and customer service skills
