ABOUT THE ROLE
With presence in New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and their Head Office in Sydney, our client now require a highly experienced, energetic and adaptable Business Development Manager to join their Sydney based team to expand their allocated business sector.
With an excellent base salary on offer, as well as an uncapped, aggressive commissions plan, this highly autonomous opportunity one not to be missed.
  
DUTIES
  • Make good quality, well qualified appointments for your allocated business sector;
  • Work with Business partners on leads, Research and following up in any website or inbound telephone enquiries;
  • Research organisations within sectors and design sales plans against those sectors;
  • Close deals via web meeting, online demos and prospect/client presentations; and
  • Achieve key performance indicators base don revenue and deals signed.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • 5 years’ experience working in the Australian Technology marketplace;
  • SaaS Cloud Contact Centre, B2B sales and selling a service/concepts practice;
  • Self-starting and proactive in work, with proven ability to cold call and generate leads;
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication of value proposition 
  • Involvement with face to face client meeting up to C level, with the ability to qualify, set and manage those appointments;
  • Ability to work with Partners to develop leads and support the team mission and objectives;
  • Have a hunting attitude and tenacity for a sale; and
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite IT literacy.
