Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be a team player working in an agile development team. You need to have a willingness to learn, have confidence to express your ideas and create a product you are proud of. The role requires experience developing Java web applications.
Skills and experience
Required Skills and Work Competencies:
- Solid understanding of OOP/FP
- 2+ years experience working for a software development company
- Strong grounding in front end and back end technologies covering:
- Java including Spring boot
- JavaScript including ReactJS or AngularJS
- Unit testing using JUnit or similar
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to research development improvements and keep up to date with best software practices
Desirable skills (not essential ):
- AWS platform
- Jenkins or similar
- Github and JIRA
- Understanding clean code principles
