Security Architect (Financial Services) will be responsible for the following:

 Nodes & Zones diagrams and data classification.

• Delivering high quality security architectures that are fit for business purposes and risk tolerances.
• Embedding security architecture process lifecycle in the project management lifecycle and solution development lifecycle processes.
• Creating security designs that meet the requirements of customers and our obligations in protecting their personal data.
• Providing internal consultancy / security reviews, including the provision of recommendations
• Evaluating and assessing technology options; maintaining security architecture and technology standards, software re-use policies and compliance alignment
• Assessing and evaluating the need for security architectural policy exemptions for adequacy of risk mitigation strategies and controls
• Communicating security associated requirements, risks and compensating controls to IT and Business stakeholders

Conducting security related assessments of potential partners, their processes and software.
 
Mandatory:

• Demonstrated design and/or consulting experience related to securing customer facing digital applications such as API’s and web based technologies
• Knowledge of security patterns and integration approaches related to identity management, federation or multi-factor authentication
• Strong understanding of network boundary protection technologies and protocols such as Firewalls, DDOS Protection, CDN Security, DLP, WAF, IPS and network access control & protection.

Desired:

• Knowledge and understanding of relevant security standards such as ISO 27000 series, SOC 2 or NIST SP800 series
• Demonstrated Security Architecture experience within medium and large Financial institutions
• Demonstrated experience in IT risk governance
• Consultancy skills demonstrated through the analysis, design and review of systems and roadmaps
• Identity and Access Management
• SIEM/Security Event Management.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT security techniques and process across web technologies
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT security products, competitive offerings and market drivers
• Excellent, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Cloud security architecture experience across IAAS, PAAS and SAAS
• Knowledge of security tools and systems
