Purpose of the role

This role sits withinin the Insurance IT development team which is responsible for supporting the Insurance business units to innovate and deliver change across a range of varying IT platforms to meet the current and future needs of our customers.

The team manages a number of the core Product Administration Systems (PAS) that administer customer policy information, along with a number of supporting systems which enable AMP to service our Customers, Advisers and manage internal Operational activity.

The role is required to provide a range of services to varied stakeholders (listed under key relationships) in support of delivering change across the systems managed by Insurance IT development team.

Main focus areas

• Support the delivery of projects through all phases of the SDLC
• Establish and maintain partnering relationships with the AMP business, project teams, other teams within IT@AMP and 3rd party vendors / suppliers
• Work closely with internal teams and 3rd party suppliers to ensure all functional and non functional aspects of the Insurance PAS are considered when delivering change
• Work closely with the IT Development Manager (Insurance) to plan and deliver change programs (initiation through to implementation)
