Responsible for driving the data centre network strategy and end to end accountability for its service, this newly created role is an awesome opportunity to build out a large, enterprise network function, developing a successful team as you to.
The role has all encompassing service accountability for Data Centre Network Service including: service strategy, service level management, performing asset lifecycle planning and governing delivery of services and solution designs by suppliers.
All technology within the data centres will fall under your remit, and your first task upon commencing will be to define what the data centre service looks like.
To secure this role, you must have extensive experience in an enterprise environment, with a proven track record in successfully overseeing technology services. In addition to this, you should have:
- Service Strategy development
- Commercial acumen and experience in driving efficiencies and cost effectiveness in IT
- Experience in the technology lifecycle and defining strategy around network technologies such as routing & switching; DNS; IPAM; switching fabrics etc.
- Knowledge of ITIL / service management / service delivery frameworks.
Experience in large, enterprise environments is essential, and a CCNP / CCIE would be ideal.
