The Role:
Our client is looking for a mid-senior creative Industrial Designer to join their talented team. They specialises in the creation and production of temporary, semi-permanent and permanent retail display from designs right through to installations.The successful candidate will will be responsible for designing permanent displays from concept through to finished engineering drawings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in POS/Retail industry; ideally 5 years working on permanent displays
- Must have a balanced approach to design; creatively and technically proficient
- Proven experience in designing for manufacture; creating detailed engineering drawings and BOMs
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
- Degree in Industrial Design or similar
- Strong knowledge in various forms of manufacturing materials and processes
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
