The Role

Join our newly established Statutory Planning team as a Senior Statutory Planning Officer, and be a part of our exciting and fast-growing peri-urban Council.

As a Senior Statutory Planning Officer, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate planning advice to community members, whilst displaying a commitment to excellent customer service. Additionally you will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the ability to provide guidance and support to our Statutory Planners and manage your time to meet critical deadlines.

About You

The successful application will have extensive knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act, the Victorian Planning Provisions and the ability to apply planning theory and principles to applications and appeals.

Applicants with previous experience in a statutory town planning role within a Local Government environment would be highly regarded.
